Come join us! The 2017 Self-Acceptance Online Summit. πŸ”†

Over the last few days, I’ve been getting a tonne of inspiration from the Self-Acceptance Online Summit. It’s free, is still running… it’s not too late to sign up. Here’s the link: https://www.soundstrue.com/store/self-acceptance-summit/free-access

To be honest, I wasn’t too sure what to expect when signing up. I hadn’t heard of Sounds True, Danielle LaPorte, Caroline Myss and many others whose teachings and insights now resonate deeply. I am very thankful for this Summit and now have a raft of new concepts, tools and perspectives that wouldn’t have been unearthed otherwise.

Each day give rise to an email containing three to four new seminars in your inbox. You then have 12 hours to listen to each Seminar from the time it was uploaded … the subsequent ones then continue to rotate through.

Some of my favs so far:

  • IYANLA VANZANT: Life coach and author, host of Iyanla: Fix My Life on OWN: Oprah Winfrey Network ❀️
  • DANIELLE LAPORTE: Equal parts poet and entrepreneurial badass, author of The Desire Map πŸ¦‹
  • ROSIE MOLINARY: Radical self-acceptance champion and author of Beautiful You πŸ”†
  • RUTH KING: Teacher of Insight Meditation and mindfulness, author of Healing Rage 🌸
  • Glenn Schiraldi, PhD, Lt. Col. (USAR, Ret.): Quietly Glad β€” Self-Esteem and Self-Acceptance 🌴
  • ELENA BROWER: Yoga teacher and author of The Art of Attention πŸ™πŸΌ
  • Rick Hanson, PhD: Letting in the Good 🌼
  • KRISTIN NEFF, PHD: One of the first researchers to do empirical studies on self-compassion, and author of Self-Compassion 🌱

While listening, I found it useful to keep a notebook handy, so key quotes, approaches and ideas can be jotted down while they’re fresh.

Am sharing this with you in case it sounds like something you’d like to explore. But be quick! It’s not going to be on for much longer. πŸ’™

  1. Yes! Watching too! Have not seen all but I believe when it ends they will have another 24 or 48 hours of everything for free. It is my experience though that it is not handy to waite and then ‘watch it all’ because, at least I can not digest so much in one day. πŸ™‚
    Enjoy the summit!

    • Good morning, oh I’m so excited you’re watching as well! Who have you enjoyed watching so far?
Maybe it’s because we are just a tiny country on the bottom of the globe but I genuinely hadn’t heard of any of these people before. It’s been delightful hearing about their journeys and connecting with their stories.
      Happy listening my friend!😘

      • I have been watching some of these free online summits before and some of the names came by earlier. I really appreciate Marry O’Malley. The title of her book ‘What is in the way, is The Way’ is a quote I live by in sobriety. I have the book (did not read it yet) but I interpret it as ‘Whatever bothers me, whatever stands between me and sobriety and being happy that I quit, whatever makes me drink now or drink in the future, is something I need to work on.’
Enjoy the rest of it all. πŸ™‚

      • Thanks for the tip on Mary M, I missed her session unfortunately. Oh but her book title sounds interesting! That’s a powerful concept. And I love your interpretation. Especially about how the triggers are something we need to work on. I love that concept and will take it with me today to ponder.
Thank you as always, your insights are so wise and uplifting πŸŒ·πŸ”†πŸŒ΄πŸ¦‹

Not all of them are my cup of tea but not the whole, I’m getting a truckload out of it. Hope your week is off to a nice start xoxo
